This is useful because there will be times where shuffling around power is mandatory to win a fight. Left clicking each icon will add power, right click will take some away.

Having a few bars of extra power is always nice, and is necessary as you upgrade your systems. This can be upgraded multiple times in the ship menu. The green bar on the left represents extra power not being used. Ideally each system should be completely powered at all times. The bottom left is your systems and their current power levels. Should you be builing a ship that is a fighter, this number is very important and can be upgraded at your Engines system, Evasion is the chance to dodge incomming fire. Oxygen is vital to life, so never let that hit zero. The final numbers in the top right corner represent your oxygen levels and evasion. The three numbers beneath your hull counter represent fuel, missiles, and drones. The number to the right of your hull is your current scrap count. Hull damage is very deadly, and anytime your ship falls below 50%, seek out a store immediately for repairs. Your hull does not repair itself however and should this reach zero, you die. Shields recharge over time and absorb only one shot per shield. Firstly, in the top left corner are your ships vitals. There is a lot of information available to the player on this screen.
